Solonics, Inc., a manufacturer of
telecom cross connect products and color coded backboards, began operations in 1985 by
manufacturing S89B, S89D brackets along with S20 distribution posts. Shortly thereafter,
we introduced a full line of Color Coded Backboards to the market.
Our objective is to make a better product than the industry standard by building quality products, providing excellent service and great pricing. In 1993, with the need to support high-speed data applications, Solonics introduced our 110 Cross Connect system. Our complete 110 line offers a reliable and economical high-density termination system with Category 5e performance. In addition, we also specialize in O.E.M. of Category 6 connectivity products, as well as customized metal fabrication and plastic moldings. Now, as a major manufacturer of telecommunication installation equipment, Solonics can fill your wire management needs. Our manufacturing facility is located in Vallejo, California at the old Navy base on Mare Island. Ironically, Bill O’Neil, our co-founder was once the helmsman and shopkeeper on the U.S.S. George Washington, a Mare Island-based submarine back in the late 1970’s.
